Heart of Mindlessness

ANOTHER FUND DRIVE, ANOTHER SCAM
KATHY DAVIS' CURE DU JOUR

Damn the listeners, full scam ahead!

Either old miracle cures have lost their luster or those who fell for the hustles of the recent past have wised up. WBAI's management has introduced a new fraudulent infomercial to sell a different brand of snake oil, so, obviously, nothing has been learned from past. What has Bates' replacement, Chris Hatzis been doing in the months since he came aboard to fix things?  Nothing of consequence, it seems.

  1. Hello Chris,

    BF from NJ,

Well Chris, It seems the same personalities are trying to solve the same problems. Hopeless. I think people should give up on this station, as I have, and take your money and support elsewhere. I have given my support to my local TV station (Channel 13) and WNYC radio (they have pledge drives which don't last as long as WBAI). It is time to make the pain feel real.

    Thanks again

    1. I'm afraid that what you say makes a great deal of sense. I had hoped that the new PD would stop the treadmill and show some people one door while opening another to some fresh voices and ideas. Instead, its the same old thing with the same tired opportunists. Your money is better spent on Channel 13 and WNYC, neither of which look upon their audience with disdain. Professional, caring management makes all the difference–WBAI is rudderless. Thank you for your comments, they are alwaays welcomed. —Chris
