Is the PNB wasting time negotiating well past all the due dates? No comment.

The JUC are not driving this train. Grace Aaron and Jan Goodman are. Also Nancy Sorden and Alex Steinberg. The JUC is simply taking advantage of the stupidity of these people.
DeleteFully agree. It sounds from the very very little information we have as if Livingston is attempting to negotiate a package deal centering on negotiations with ESRT. This would seem both the natural and the sensible thing to attempt, to address Pacifica’s present financial issues in a single comprehensive stroke, likely attempting to engage ESRT’s assistance in securing and negotiating signal swaps as part of a packaged solution to the present impasse rather than simply treating ESRT as an Evil Capitalist Ogre.
DeleteThis is pure speculation on my part, of course, and even if I’m not too far wide of the mark it may or may not happen.
If it were to happen it would likely buy Pacifica time to restructure and reform. As to the odds of that happening in a meaningful way, that’s a whole other question, ain’t it…?

ReplyDeletebesides all the stakeholders, investors, donors, payers, listeners there that have not been publicly INFORMED = that their property is mortgaged and may be sold, for nothing they knew or agreed to do when a lease was signed in NY or the network's temp staff agreed to...?
who was it that signed that lease ?
who knew what consequences Could occur?
Who has been penalized, made responsible, accountable or forced to repay even 3c for making that lease legally binding for how long ????
Who cares as long as everyone Else pays, until they can't pay any more and exit?
no shadow knows, but all the pretend-authorities acted in the shadows, the dark, the not-revealed until.....a legal judgement was finally admitted & announced via a Pacifica yahoo group - to those few who read or subscribe there...right ?
