Pacificans in other places are beginning to react to the allegation brought up in Steve Brown's post (see below). We still don't know if that post is real, but no further word has come from Steve.

A lawsuit not having been filed does not vacate your serious responsibility to report crimes and report to Pacifica and the station, the person who puts them at risk. Don't add to the situation by withholding what you know. That in essence makes you an accomplice after the fact. Not something you should be willing to take part in. If you honestly believe the claims are true and that crimes were committed, you have an obligation here, not to further be a part of withholding information related to crimes.
It's your call, but it also appears you've know about it for a long time and have remained silent, making you part of whatever cover-up and neglect you are talking about. That isn't fair to anyone, including yourself. If there are crimes, let them out. Let them finally be investigated and the chips fall where they may.
Don't withhold pertinent information and drag it out any further. If you know of crimes, report them to Pacifica and authorities. We can ill afford more detriment.
The victim should not have to live in fear of further crime or have to live with it never being handled. Others with information should also come forward.

Why have you waited so long? Why are you coming forward with this now? When can the rest of us expect to see some official documentation of these alleged charges?

Seriously, no one, not one victim went to the police? Neither you nor Gary went to the police on behalf of this person or the 100+ other alleged victims?
I personally know and trust Bill Crosier. I find it hard to believe that he would dismiss such a serious allegation.
Wondering what's really going on and why this email is being sent at all. You and the others should be filing a police report to start an investigation if you're seriously going to post this sort of accusation. Have y'all done this?

This is most probably about Armand DiMele, known for his avaricious and lecherous chasing after women. I won't guess as to the woman who makes these claims, however. As for a hundred other women, not at Pacifica. If there is any truth to this, those women would probably have been clients, not Pacicans.
ReplyDeleteI find it very interesting to see Brown and Null involved in this. Let's look back at when Null had his feuds with Reimers how he made those grandiose claims he was sitting on sexual harassment evidence he was going to release, but, of course, never did.
This all smells of Gary Null being bitchy again. I don't know if the unknown woman actually exists or experienced this, but I do smell a rat. The same organic rat Null has intimated about several times before.
I don't trust any of this any more than I trust the old Satanic sexual abuse stuff. Maybe Brown and Null can get themselves to Jerry Rivers... errr... Geraldo Rivera and have him do a TV special all about it.
This smells big time. The big question is "What do Brown and Null want?"

Not having seen anything further from Steve Brown, I now feel pretty sure that he indeed posted that Credico-like outburst. His being so close to Null, I wonder why the eminent alternative medicine man and all-round good guy has continued to support WBAI. Well, I shouldn't really wonder—Null is not the Mother Terea he likes to portray.

Obviously brown and Null are out for something, but what? Pacifica is essentially fucked, and if these allegations are true, they would be gang banged, which won't help keep Pacifica alive.
Considering the several times Null pushed these claims and withdrew them, it is all sounding like blackmail to me.
What was the relationship between Brown and Null with DiMele. Did they have problems? Since DiMele is dead and his underlings now host his time spot now, could it have something to do with that?
Why go for a dead man who can't answer for his actions over someone like Bates, whom everyone knows was accused by many of sexual harassment and is still at WBAI?
This just stinks of some ulterior motive(s).

Yes, I do believe it is Armand DiMele. Ask Alice Krakauer, who was his long time producer and sex partner. Armand was tied into Krasdale foods who was his underwriter on the station.

Could the victim that was "saved" by Null be the woman who used to be on Dimele's show and later had a show on Null's PRN?

By doing this, they're opening themselves up to massive lawsuits, filing false crime complaints and more. If this is true, what's really sad is that no NYC news outlet is touching this. Nationally, nothing. Why? Because it's a "New York thing".
