ReplyDeleteEven if they wanted to, there is nothing that the pols could do at this point anyway. The only thing that could save Pacifica now is a donation of millions of dollars, and that ain't gonna happen either.
ReplyDeleteCredico is an inflated. Publicity seeker. He called the politicians in when he staged that so-called “press conference” foor WBAI on the steps of City Hall. It resulted in nothing but furter embarrassment.

DeleteI really wonder how many "kids" are sitting around listening to WBAI's Santa Claus Christmas special sprinkled with a lot of political propaganda. The people who work at the station don't even practice the principles they're supposedly espousing to children in this show.

DeleteI tuned in for a few minutes and heard a promo for an LSB report tomorrow (12/26/17) from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Should be another round of how they are going to earn more money with the same ideas they have introduced before that have failed before.
ReplyDeleteI know where they can get a loan to pay the ESRT bill. They can go to one of those Native American loan institutions on a sovereign nation and charge 100% interest. As the woman doing a TV commercial for one said, "Sure, the money is expensive, but when you need it..."
Anyway, when WBAI can't pay them back, they could ask for it to be forgiven because they do so much for the Native American community, having John Kane and Moron Ghostass on the air.

The last hour of tomorrow's live LSB Report will supposedly be devoted to a discussion of the current crisis—i.e. the mess these desperate ignoramuses refused to acknowledge until the waters of greed, ego and incompetence reached their chins.

Perhaps Bates will surface and talk about how evil white men stole North America from Africans who had lived here for close to 7000 years. Kathy will be there, agreeing with everything. in her Pavlovian way. On the street—his raised voice seeping into the studio.closet through the skylight—Mitchel will be heard proclaiming the innocence of Russian hackers. In the meantime...
