Luxury in the eyes of the beholders.

WE'LL BELIEVE IT WHEN THE WALLS HIT THE CEILING!

They do a good show, but listen to what the Morning Dew hosts have to say about the WBAI audio closet. Mitchel Cohen must have given them each a pair of Reimers' rose-colored glasses, or that morning dew got into their eyes!

  1. Luxury, in that minimalist Khmer Rouge sort of way. Maybe I'll have a Pol Pot combo for lunch and pay for it with Reimers I.O.U. Dollars.

Kind of surprised to hear mention of The Good Rats. I was never a fan of theirs, really, but did like the songs Cherry River and Fireball Express a lot.

  2. Why do you have to be so mean--I'll bet the walls at least hit the floor, which is the ceiling for the floor below--so there.
When I say I'll bet....i mean that metaphorically....i mean......i'm not really offering to bet......i mean it more as a term of art and all........besides betting is probably illegal in brooklyn......although I've never checked.....even if it is legal i didn't really mean i'd bet and all....i'll just bet in a kind of imaginary kind of way .....if you know what i mean and all.....

  3. Hard to believe Sargent got bumped for Nully. Maybe Sargent didn't kiss someone's ass this week. You now what's really funny about Nully? He's going to make people "healthy" so he can scare them into stress based early death. I still think Nully and Alex Jones need to do a show together...

Oh, and I thought the mini beg-a-thon was supposed to be over already. Yeah, right. Will it go on for the rest of the month?

    1. Did anybody "pay close attention" this morning?

    2. No. However, I did "pay a bill" this morning, which is more responsible than how WBAI conducts itself,

For 100 points, give a misleading answer to the following question: Wasn't the WBAI mini beg-a-thon scheduled to end on August 2nd?

    3. August 2nd of what year? Haha or maybe it was this year, because next August 2nd they won't be here.

Tuned in briefly today hoping against hope to hear something intelligent, only to hear Joy deGrue with her post
      slave syndrome garbage.

This woman really makes me sick. Telling about how Lebron James posed for a picture on a magazine cover
like 10 years ago, saying they portrayed him as an ape .Something to the effect of racism in plain sight.
First of all Lebron James is a big boy, and I don't think he would have done that if he thought he was being used
for that reason. The guys not an idiot. This woman is fabricating falsehoods imo. Lebron James probably forgot about

it 10 minutes later, after he stuck that big check in his pocket. This woman is an embarrassment , cherry picking stories about how whitey spoke badly about blacks 200 years ago. Or how they put a black man in the bronx zoo 115 years ago.

What purpose does any of that serve, other than her selling more books and getting blacks to hate whites. please!

    4. Not only has this fundraiser gone past its announced closing day, it was started early. I notice that they also are getting sloppier. This morning, an infomercial finished and ten minutes of silence went by before Reggie, all out of breath, showed up and started a confused search for whatever the schedule had called for. His own program!

This means that there was nobody around for a long time while the station was on the air--it should at all times have someone in charge. Amazing what Reimers and his bozos get away with.

I agree, most of the station's programs serve no good purpose, they just thin out the listenership even more.
