Verbose vanity...

Here is what was happening (or not) on the day Browne-Marshall successfully screwed up the first day of WBAI's Kavanaugh Senate hearings. She talked to herself over the whole thing, making it impossible to follow on WBAI!

From Indigopirate...

A sampler, so to speak, of the Programming Committee as it springs into action…!

Draw your own conclusions, it isn’t too difficult, running time of the sampler is ~ 21:09 and the tenor is very clear, very early.

Two sentiments dominate, as they have for decades:

1) We have to change, fast!

2) There are processes and procedures, and what’s the rush?

Guess which wins?                                        ~ ‘indigopirate’

Mercifully truncated audio clip.
Sadistically untruncated version.

  1. I salute you Indigo. I couldn't even make it through the truncated clip. These people know very well about the programming evaluation proposal which passed. They just ignored it or pretended they never knew about it.

  2. How about putting the Browne-Marshall monolog on the left channel and the hearings on the right? Let the user adjust how much babble they want to hear with the patented fair and balance(d) control!

  3. What exactly happened with the Senate hearing coverage, I didn't know what happened, also do you have audio of what you're referring to?

  4. Let me summarize this for anyone who is debating listening to either version - Kathy Davis is leading a programming committee...

  5. The success of the WBAI Kavanaugh hearings means we will be implementing our new Voice of the Voiced program during all shows featuring non-POC hosts. Kathy Davis and MeMe Rosenberg will provide narrative over Amy Goodman/Democracy Now!, Michael Haskins over Leonard Lopate, Michio Kaku will be color commentary complemented with Geoff Brady, Berthold Reimers will explain Richard Wolffe.
