CONfused "professor"

Ron Daniels is never at a loss for self-puffery, but even today's WBAI has callers who don't drink the Kool-Aid.

No real reason for posting the following audio clip from today's Advantage Point show, but  while we wait for the important news...

Not so professorial moment.

  1. I often think that that which so empowers the mindless horrors of the right are the endless horrors of the left.

Hardly an original observation on my part, just a thought.

  2. Chris,

Hufnagel was a woman, a medical doctor who lost her license. She lost a libel suit.

Hufnagel made weird and unsubstantiated claims against a doctor and others.

  3. I love WBAI. The Asia Pacific show talking about El Salvador. La Voz Latina talking the same crap in a different language and now Absurd Conspiracy Theater with Brady.

    1. How about Credico? You have to admire a guy who can talk a blue streak saying nothing and do it all while kissing rear ends.

    2. Asia Pacific Forum was off this week, was not talking about El Salvador. The anger on this forum has become diffuse and not constructive.

    3. There is legitimate anger on this board - WBAI has fucked over so many people over the years - it needs to go down, hard. WBAI has committed many crimes - staff members should go to jail and former staff members should be indicted for theft and sexual crimes

    4. I don't think there is much anger on this board. I would say it's more amusement.
As for not being constructive, I would point the finger at WBAI and Pacifica.

  4. Brady is exposing those evil Swiss. All this time Chris, you were sweating the Danes but Brady has revealed the truth. At the heart of the conspiracy lies those evil Swiss.

    5. On behalf of my fellow masons, I wish to state for the record that we are not now nor have we ever been members of that defunct group known as templars. These attacks on Switzerland must end. Everyone knows the world is ruled from Brussels.

    6. Sadly, the attacks on Switzerland coincides with Reimers' getting together a major Alpine yodel-o-rama with the Trapps traipsing in blackface among thousands of darkened edelweiss blooms.

These WBAI creatures have lousy timing.

    7. Actually, Switzerland isn't the problem. It's really the Republic of Saugeais. They are the biggest threat to Pacifica.

  5. Chris,

Jim Dingeman posted this. Dingeman must have had a testicular transplant from an auroch to post this:

There is a need to raise as much money as possible additionally each month

    Probably more much more

I am simply calculating covering the monthly cost of the transmitter

We probably should increase that number to an additional 100 k a month going forward on top of what we get from the fund raising drives

They need to teach 85 percent or more of their goals

How to practically do that now

    Any thoughts???

Dingeman lives in the 1930s, as is evidenced by his fascination with Karl Marx, the Golden Age of Radio.

Or we could raise money the way one of Mitchel Cohen's heros did. Stalin raised money by robbing banks.

    1. I think desperation and severe naïvité has lifted Jim off this Earth. He does not have a time slot to fight for, so I think the growing challenge and diminished odds of successfully meeting it drives him inti never-never land.

  7. I think "LGBTQ" is now obsolete. Other letters have been added, but, I can't remember what they are or what the new letters stand for. It's really hard to keep up this stuff.

  8. From an upcoming appearance:
Once upon a time in a galaxy not far away, there lived two kings. Each was the ruler of his own deliciously glorious planet. The first king, Manchildblack, was well known throughout the cosmos for his ethereal vocals, celestial sonics and earthy musical messages. The other king, Monstah Black, was a star in the solar system for his gravity defying performances, gender bending fashions and spacey disposition. One magical night, an inexplicable ultra-magnetic pull forced the two planets to collide. A technicolored explosion occurred, turning night into day, with a feast of aural and visual delights. It was then that the universe was changed forever. Manchildblack and Monstah Black united and became The Illustrious Blacks!

  9. If they go , could they take Prescod , Daniels, Jordan, Gloria Brown , Haskins, Byrd, Milton Alamadi, Bob Law, Samori Benjamin, Pam Brown, Joy DeGrue, Mimi Rosenberg, "Education at the crossroads guy, Gerald Horne, Nate Turner, Haitian allstars, Rebel Diaz , Charles Barron etc....
Maybe then bai could have a chance to survive. Be alot of dead air though . haha

    1. We can't have that. They represent .01 percent of revenue and 3.4 percent of the audience. WBAI could not afford those kinds of losses. Besides, Mimi has a plan. It is a simple plan, an innovative plan free from the rules of accounting and common sense. She will save the station. She's still perfecting it but it should be ready any day now. In the meantime, Prescod needs $5,000 in the next five minutes. She only has 5 premiums left. Call now. Right now.

    2. Yes, although I think Gloria Brown could stay. While Geoff Brady, Null and Kathy Davis need to be huddled in the caboose along with Reimers, Bates, Katz and, of course, Cerene and her JUC dummies.

    3. Don't listen to Chris Mr. Null. He doesn't understand all the good work you've done promoting alternative medicine. He has let his anti-Dane and anti-Swiss views cloud his judgement. Who else would donate their products to be used as premiums at a reasonable discount? Who else would step in and ensure delivery of premiums. You even collect money on WBAI's behalf. Who else would do that?
Its only natural that you receive some compensation from WBAI. After all you're the biggest fundraiser. I'm looking forward to the next retreat.

    4. There is only one Null—I like to call him Mr. Selfless.

  10. How could i have forgotten Reimers, Bates , Davis , Brady Plus Sally O'Brien,
    Null, Katz, Cerene.
Wait isn't this the majority of the station? haha
Yeah , debatable about Gloria Brown . I think she should go just for reading that list of blacks
that were mistreated by cops , which she spent a whole hour on last year. But that's just me.

    1. So far, I think the guy who replaced Felipe Luciano is doing a good job. Felipe has serious, stupid problems accepting the fact that he isn't black enough, so he foolishly tries to deny being Latino. I remember when he opportunistically cashed in on his light complexion.

  11. Add Bonnie Faulkner, host of "Guns and Butter" to the list of those who should be tossed overboard. Her show is nothing more than a platform for every conspiracy theorist who comes along.

  14. Chris,

A true statement by Jim Dingeman:

any investigations by the NY State AG and other sudden and repeated media splashes will make this worse since we are already perceived as irrelevant and off the radar screen by millions here in the metro area.

    Thank you.

    1. Jim is often correct in his assessments of the situation, I just have a problem with some of his pipe dream solution proposals.

    2. Dingeman is wrong. Any investigations could only help WBAI get a little publicity and seem to be persecuted, in the eyes of lefties. Remember, "good publicity is good publicity, bad publicity is good publicity, no publicity is bad publicity."

  15. In my estimation, they are by no means the worst WBAI has to offer, but only because their shallow chit chat and bland music does not preach racism and other forms of hate, such as Bates and others do.

They have been on the air for two years—that's 24 months too long.

When (if) all the riffraff and gross incompetence is thrown into the dumpster, there will be very little left... VERY little. Keeping WBAI on the air in its present form is not something that can be justified—restoring it mission impossible.

    1. Wow. Stone says that he just asked Randy to confirm a report that Assange had DNC emails and that Randy confirmed it. Is that the extent of the contact or is there more to it?
I guess Randy won't have time to deal with Reimers and Bates.

    2. Randy's calendar is filling up. He spoke to Jimmy Dore. According to the Daily Beast, he has jury duty around the time he is supposed to appear before the committee. He told
Russia Today he thinks the committee has ulterior motives. “This is about chilling WikiLeaks and that starts with intimidating anyone who has met with Julian [Assange].”
