This exceedingly long PNB meeting is posted in its entirety for no other reason than to demonstrate the futility of incompetence and the obstructive game played by Cerene and Adriana. You won't listen to the whole thing, but here are 4:17:46.5 hours of nothing...
You may miss it, but during one vote we hear one member tell another how to vote!
If there is one PNB meeting people should listen to, it's this one. Just make a meal, some snack, a good hard drink or drop some aspirin (I don't advise hallucinogenic drugs) and listen to this insanity. These lunatics actually make Trump and his cronies seem intelligent.

I agree. It sounds like the current drive is bringing in little money, which was predictable and should have been considered by Reimer and Bates, but they are basically rerunning previous drives, rife with outdated information.
DeleteI have a feeling that the bozos were instructed to sound optimistic and give the impression that WBAI is rising from the ashes. I think that's a sure sign of desperation.
Notice that there was no mention of the financial situation made at the 4-hour free-for-all. These clowns will go down shouting at each other.

DeleteHave you noticed how much time they turn over to Null?. Haskins' slaves are apparently not making it, so he's now pre-empted. Kathy Cake is also prominent—everything she tries to hawk is "powerful", and I think they put Prescod in a back bucket—I wonder if she sold her 15 Robesons, and whether Null found a byer for his dining table. So many questuins!
I guess Null's scare tactics make more bank than the other crap, except Davis' eye exercises, or whatever that is supposed to be. I can't listen to it all. Also, you have to wonder when Prescod will no longer have the "rights" to sell burns of the Cubans in Africa thing.

ReplyDeleteI have been present when R Paul Martin would tell Pat Logan how to vote. Do the people, who read this board, seriously believe that Steve Brown does not tell people how to vote.
Steve Brown cut off Mitchel Cohen when Cohen convinced some individuals to vote for John Brinkley, who was allied with Justice and Unity. I believe that Ken Laufer was Brown’s nominee.
Perhaps, Justice and Unity lie as much as the devotees of Steve Brown. But I doubt if that is true.
And I have never heard anyone in Justice and Unity threaten to use their sniper skills to kill members of the opposing party- as Jim Dingeman has boasted.

Ed, I assume that you are talking about Steve Brown, Null's sidekick, but I think the one we hear at this meeting is the other Brown, from WPFW (Washington, D.C.). I may be wrong about that.

Ed Manfredonia has a thing for Steve Brown, rightly or wrongly, but doesn't provide any evidence to back anything up. If you listen to him, you'll believe everything WBAI is a conspiracy orchestrated by Steve Brown, like he's a mini George Soros of right wing conspiracies.

They are just idiots using their forums to play some sort of microcosmic political activists' simulation games because they mean nothing as people in the real world.
As I have said often before, WBAI is a playground for wannabe political activists being subsidized by fewer than 6,000 scared lefties (most recent statistic). As long as just enough listener idiots keep sending money, the WBAItes get to play. It's as simple as that.

Let us understand something. Steve Brown lied about the financing of a loan to enable the hiring of Andrea Katz. This alleged loan was never entered into the books. Nobody ever mentions the accounting fraud of Steve Brown. Brown is a huge supporter of Gary Null. Plus Steve Brown wanted R Paul Martin an accounting innumerate to be Chair of the WBAI Finance Committee. Martin knows nothing about accounting.
I have read numerous criticisms of Ceriene on this blog. But no one writes about the incompetence of Andrea Katz, who e-mailed me that she had 3 Master's degrees.
Andrea is not required to be at the offices of WBAI. Andrea teaches part-time and has a business designing clothes.
And Andrea had a meltdown on television.
These are not qualifications to manage a radio station.
WBAI appears to be a repository of lost souls. Old lost souls.
And no one does any research about members of the WBAI LSB or of the WBAI Finance Committee.

The LSB, to my knowledge, hires people. Who Steve Brown may or may not have chosen as his preference isn't important. One needs to blame the LSB for making the decision, as with many stupid decisions.

That would be her late brother. Ecept for questioning Reimers as to where a special "gift" (iPad) might be located. Curiously enough, the listener who was announced as having won it was anxious to actually receive it. Reimers told Andrea that the station did not have the iPad, because there wasn't enough money to purchase it.
