Comey Coverage

  1. They should let Babbling Bob host it.

  2. Is it even remotely possible that this coverage will be of any interest, merit, or consequence – to anyone?

    1. Remotely, yes. I vowed to support Bill Corsini’s efforts—this post puts my pixels where my mouth is, so to speak. I hope the producers can approach the hearing subjectively.

  3. Did you say subjectively Chris? Isn't this the station that bashed both candidates, gave Jill Stein essentially free advertising and then threw a hissy fit because the candidate they had bashed as a sellout lost?

    1. Well, yes. somewhere in that mix I detect fake subjectivity, which the WBAI occupation opportunists excel in.

  4. In all seriousness. The coverage isn't a matter of quality, which will probably be better in bringing out facts the corporate media won't touch, during the analysis. The problem is who will listen. They have so few listeners that they won't get beyond preaching to the converted. Is it worth the effort and any added expenses? I don't know.

    1. It is only worth it if they do it right and to such an extent that it is noticed by an outlet or individual who does get the attention Pacifica is lacking.

They will obviously lean on the right (i.e. left) side of the issue, but they need to present more than one perspective. If it's just the house clods at Pacifica, nothing positive will be accomplished, so it is imperative that they feature guests who are recognized as being knowledgable.

Anyway, it is probably better to have some kind of coverage than none at all. I hopw they also have experienced people doing PR.

    1. I don't see how this video relates to the Comey coverage. Sargent often refers to himself as a film maker—has anyone seen a film made by him?

  7. One angle on this that Pacifica News should cover? Ray McGovern's theory that there is no Russian election manipulation. Instead, this is sophisticated CIA/NSA software that was used to make it look like the Russians did something. So far, nobody in US media (including DN) will go near this.

McGovern has been in Washington for over 50 years. He was at the CIA for 25 years. He has no criminal record. He has no long standing grudge against a former CIA or other intelligence agency employee. He also says that he still has an active network of intelligence sources. Why then would he risk that credibility on pushing a lie? The only places I can see him range from RT to RichieAllen.com and other small sites. How much do you wanna bet that they won't interview him on Thursday?

    1. McGovern is every bit as reliable a source as is WBAI/Pacifica.

    2. My theory is the left has no clue why Clinton lost PA and Michigan. It couldn't possibly be Clinton's flaws or Trump's campaign. It had to be something else.

  8. Chris, if you didn't hear Geoff Brady last Monday night, I highly recommend you go to the archives and listen to the idiot. He had Bill Crosier on to discuss Crosier's pulling of the zapper and organite premium, which Crosier did very calmly and intelligently, trying to educate Brady in the basics of scientific research, too. Brady only succeeded in getting noticeably more irritated and making a total fool of himself. You can see what a true believer and loon Brady is in this stuff.
