PNB thugs have a failure to communicate....

The Pacifica bozos who are attempting, by hook and by crook, to ignore the recent election and rig the outcome have again ignored WBAI's elected representatives.

A few days ago, when they did that, Mozart stepped in with a delightful number. This time around, the beeps have it.
The autocratic chairperson.
Right out of a Nazi movie.*
A dictatorial chairperson—Tony Norman of WPFW—seems determined to keep this fraud going, so he has appointed a "sergeant at arms"! Can you believe it? I don't know what this person is going to do to control a coast to coast phone meeting, but we are not dealing with intelligent people here.

Isn't it interesting that an organization that encourages active protest now finds itself condemning it. Hypocrites, one and all. One can only hope that this fraud and manipulation is reported to an official agency that can close this madhouse down or, at least kick out the crooks.

The two attached audio files cover the entire melee. I have not made any edits, but I did speed up portions of it, because it is deadly long.

  1. It’s difficult to see how any court will reach the conclusion that any of these actions are valid either with respect to their bylaws or any other legal and regulatory considerations.

Can you imagine a court’s reaction to all this?

  2. I listened through this piece of audio art and have no idea what to say. Maybe we are lucky that Pacifica is around because it keeps these people off the streets? I wonder if anything like this has ever happened in the history of American radio broadcasting before. I still say they were a better bunch in 1976/77. At least they acted like adults and tried to organize and took over the transmitter room at the ESB. It's so hard to find good revolutionaries anymore...

    1. Imagine if this was done in compliance with FCC rules and every beep was a "nasty" word coverup!

    2. The 2,000 words you can't say on the radio. That would sure beat out Carlin. Know what I really would have like to have heard? The executive session. I wonder if this continued on. Also, what is the point of muting people if they can unmute themselves?

    3. There is no valid point to anything this mob does. Yes, the executive session must be a lesson in covert openness. :)

Now, about this Null fellow... I guess he's still out there, somewhere, producing a full-length selfie that the Reimers gang can pirate.

    4. I still want to know how a Null premium program got on the air. It makes me very suspicious.

Anybody know the breakdown of board members by faction? Siegel/Brazon lost at 3 of 4 stations with elections. They must have seen it coming because they were arguing in the affiliates group months ago. Everyone found it amusing at the time but now its not so funny.

  5. The Mozart was so much better... If the touchtone terrorist is gonna do that again, at least he should alternate tones and play us some Philip Glass minimalism. But really, I vote for some Beethoven next time.

    1. Philip Glass sounds good. But my vote, due to the nature of Pacifica's modern claimed revolutionary mission. would have to go to the 1970s Italy based experimental, multi-ethnic, ethno, communist, progressive rock band Area. RIP Demetrio Stratos.

    2. It's all a question of what you can do with a phone. And the tones the old(er) ones can make. Will check out your link, though.
