And here(courtesy of an anonymous visitor) is the FCC rule broken by Reimers and his Gang this time around. Here, too is a link provided by Tracy Rosenberg.
They are going off air. Instead of acting with dignity they are trying to squeeze as much money out of the fund drive as they can. I hope FCC takes notice, but with Pacifica being an alternative and politically radical not for profit community broadcaster, they may choose not to pursues this, which is a pity.
I don't know if the station has bought the iPad Air, but I assume that they will come through this time, because they have set a date for the announcement. I have not seen any details as to configuration, color, memory. The lowest price is $499 for a 16GM tablet without cellular, and they can go up to $929. Of course, if they were smart they would have obtained a deal—but they are not so smart, are they?
